time flies real fast. talentime's been over for almost a week already! goodness.
to think..last tues - final rehearsal, wed - deco, thurs - finals(!)
well at least all the rush and madness is over now.
no more flaring/crying/late nights.

turn up was good. about 270 pple bought tickets. managed to get a nicenice dvd player thanks to wayne.
yet of all things, just as the event was about to start, there was a black out. -mumbles grumbles-
almost killed us all. &even when the power finally came back on, the speakers fused. but thankfully we had really nice sweet contestants who were understanding and supportive. everyone ended up singing without mikes and music. impromptu addition to the programme too.
and 3 of my favourite pple got top 3 too!

ohwells. the event didnt turn out as we hoped due to the power failure. but still didnt turn out too bad.
i think. at least thats what nice sweet pple told me.

terence ah gong gong: for lending me his poor ears everytime i needed to blah. for all the long waitings just to have lunch..though our poor intestines hardly had time to digest anything cos we hardly had time to eat. for being so nice as to drive me from one end to the other of our lil' island just to collect sponsorship goods.

terence, stanley &see keong: thankyou to you 3 lovely pple for helping me fix the laptop projection problem &for staying back with me even when everyone else has left.

my fishmonger: for never failing me. for the longlong hours of waiting throughout the afternoons and nights without a single word of complain. for holding me when i cry. for the encouragement and help in running around getting things (of which it shouldnt even have been you who had to do it). for being my happy pill whenever i was upset or about to go monkey ballooneys. last but not least, for being proud of me. ilu. :)

drea, jesse &pravin: for turning up &supporting me.

eve, tab, nana, shan &shan's bf: you lovely pple have never failed in putting a smile on my face. thankyou so much for turning up, for supporting our lovely DEEva. sorry i wasnt able to take photos with you all. plsplspls lets have a proper gathering soon. oh yes..next up..PAGEANT ON 15TH DEC! say yes?

not everyone i've named up here would be able to see this. but no matter. these are the pple who either went through this time with me, or who's expressed their concern &encouragement one way or another. though things didnt turn out as we've all hoped it would, but looking at this list, i'd say i've been really blessed to have so many pple go through this time with me, who've kept me going strong till the end.

got a msg from a friend &contestant. his msg touched my heart:-
"good job girl. though today has not turned out as well as what we wished, but you have really done your very best..i am really grateful as a contestant, what you've done for us. thanks alot."

sorry smurfie! if i did. :p exciting. cant wait for it. at the same time..looking forward to the end of the event so my poor smurfie will be able to get more rest, be a happier kid &have time for herself &other matters.

&i hope that from this, those who thought i cant be bothered to meet up with them, or eventually assumed i was too busy that they didnt even bother to ask for meetups anymore, or was forever wondering why i was so busy, would understand now. if you dont..all i can say is, i'm sorry.
